

Scripture Study are small groups that meet once a week for 1 1/2 hours from September to May. The focus of this group is to help others come to a better knowledge and love of God the Father, His Son, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit reading and studying the Divine Scripture.
Women seminars are run in the seasons of Lent and Easter to help women grow in their faith. The seminars involve Scripture teaching. Please contact the Parish office for gathering times.
Young Adults invite all local young adults, ages 18-35, to join us every Monday evening at 7:15 p.m. On the first and third Monday we have "discussion sessions", on the second Monday is evening Prayer, Praise and Worship and the fourth Monday is dinner and a game. Children's Ministries helps children to build a Faith Foundation for children by guiding them to a personal relationship with Jesus. They celebrate the "Children's Liturgy of the Word" suitably adapted to make it relevant to the lives and experiences of young children. The Sunday Lectionary readings are the source of materials by which the children grow. Children Ministry meets during the 9:30 a.m. Mass on the first, second, third and fifth Sunday.
Children's Faith Formation provides children and youth, Grades K-8, with the knowledge, experiences and skills that are necessary to become disciples of Jesus. Children will be taught the fundamentals of our Catholic faith while emphasizing the unconditional love of the Father, the example and Good News of Jesus Christ and the grace and inspiration of the Holy Spirit. Children will also look at the needs of others and actively reach out to those in need within our community and within our world through active acts of charity.
Baptism preparation provides an avenue for the instruction to parents of the ongoing importance of Baptism in the Church in the life of the child and in their lives as parents. First Reconciliation and Eucharist program is designed to invite families to become more involved in the preparation of their children for the sacraments. This program begins at the end of first grade and the sacraments are administered in the fall and spring of second grade. Confirmation program is a two year program that will prepare the candidates to live a Spirit filled life and a true commitment to their Baptismal promise of lived faith and service to God's people. Candidates are introduced to the process at the end of 8th grade. The program encompasses classroom lessons, service, workshops and large and small group activities and retreats. Marriage couples who are planning to marry must contact the church one year prior to the prospective wedding date. Engaged couples are required to complete the Saint Philip Neri Marriage Program. Please contact the Religious Education Office for more information.
RCIA program prepares those who are becoming part of the Catholic Church. It is designed to spread the Good News of the Kingdom of God through word and deed and to catechize those who wish to join our faith community with a team that is prepared and comfortable with the topics and at ease with discussing their faith. Catechist vision is to locate men and women of faith, 18 years of age or older, with a willingness to share the faith and their faith experience with students as well as continue study for self-growth and improvement.
