Altar Society Members of the Altar Society care for the sanctuary of the church. They are responsible for cleaning sacred linens as well as areas of the worship space. They also work to keep our worship area and environment beautiful. For more information, please contact the parish office.
Ushers welcome people to the liturgy. These volunteers assist at Mass on weekends and holy days, taking the offertory collection and maintaining a reverent atmosphere during the liturgy. Ushers also will render aid during an emergency by contacting necessary authorities. For more information, please contact the parish office.
Lector Ministry is a valuable ministry to the liturgical celebration of the Mass and other liturgical gatherings. The mission of lector is to proclaim before the people by word and deed the Word of God. Training is provided before active service. For more information please contact the Parish Office.
Liturgy Committee – This committee is comprised of members of the St. Philip Neri Faith Community. The committee serves in conjunction with the Pastor to provide and coordinate spiritual enhancement of the various liturgical celebrations held at St. Philip Neri Parish.
Extraordinary Eucharistic Communion Service is a ministry open to all people of the parish who are over the age of sixteen years of age and who have been confirmed. They are members of the parish who possess a deep love of Christ in the Eucharist and a willingness to serve the people of Saint Philip Neri during our liturgical celebrations. Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist also serve in our nursing homes and with home visitation. Training is provided before active service. For more information please contact the Parish Office.
Altar Servers any girl or boy who wants to serve the Lord in a very special way should consider altar serving. They will be assigned to serve at Lord's Table at daily and weekend Masses and other liturgical services. Group training classes are held as needed. Contact Altar Server Director for more information.
