Following Christ as Men of the Lord Jesus
This is a four week series for men on developing the basics of following Christ in today’s world. The series begins on Jan. 23 and runs till Feb. 13, 2012. The seminar begins at 7:00pm. in the rectory. Refreshments and food are served after the meeting at 8:30pm.
Following Christ as Men of the Lord Jesus-a seminar for men- is designed to engage men in developing a renewed understanding of how to follow Christ in our time. The seminar will explore ways that we do that by examining how to establish contact with the Lord on a daily basis, learn how to develop faith to experience God guiding us day by day, how to develop good relationships with others in our life, and encounter the power of God in worship and the sacraments.
The seminar begins at 7pm. with a time of prayer, worship and praise of the Lord, followed by teaching that engages men through exploring the Bible, discussion and followed by a time of reflection on what was learned for the evening. As we conclude around 8:30pm., refreshments and food are served for fellowship.
